“I’m hungry” – Khamzat Chimaev wants Conor McGregor after “rat lip” comment

Khamzat Chimaev is the next big UFC star and he has called out Conor McGregor

Swedish UFC star Khamzat Chimaev wants to fight Conor McGregor and called out the Irishman on social media.

Chimaev is one of the most impressive UFC stars currently and has won his first two fights in spectacular fashion.

The Swede, who carries the nickname Borz, also won the two fights in two different divisions. Not only that, but he also dominated his rivals and the clashes were just 10 days apart.

Chimaev has asked Dana White for more fights and even called out Demian Maia next. However, McGregor seems to have gotten the attention of the rising star.

McGregor hasn’t fought since defeating Donald Cerrone in his UFC return but called the Chechen-born Chimaev “rat lip”.

That comment on social media seems to have been deleted but it was enough to get Chimaev going. The 26-year-old possibly meant that the Irishman was a “tap machine” before calling him “chicken heart” and asking White for “dessert”.

“@TheNotoriousMMA Tab machine king chicken heart @danawhite i’m hungry give me Give me dessert”

This isn’t something new for McGregor as he has called out other fighters in the past. However, things haven’t always worked out well for the Irishman as he was destroyed by Khabib Nurmagomedov after making similar comments.

What is next for Chimaev?

The problem for Chimaev is that there are several stars wanting to get their hands on him. The Swede has been on an incredible run and there are rumours of him getting another clash in August or September.

That would be incredible given that he is just a month or so in the UFC. However, he has looked every bit as a champion and has openly said he wants to win gold.
