Here are several instances of UFC Legend Khabib Nurmagomedov getting pranked
Khabib has never tasted defeat in his professional MMA career. The Russian officially retired this year, after hanging up his gloves at UFC 254. He retired with a record of 29 wins and 0 losses.
Hardly did anyone come close to defeating the ‘Eagle of Dagestan’. And undoubtedly he is the greatest UFC lightweight of all time.
However, Khabib has taken a few Ls outside the Octagon. There have been numerous instances where he has been pranked – predominantly by his teammates.
One such instance was when Khabib’s coach Javier Mendez asked a woman who trains at their gym, to hide inside a carton box. Mendez had planned to ask Khabib to open the box saying that his fighting gear was inside the box.
Khabib arrived and the plan worked as Mendez had planned. No sooner did Khabib open the box, than the woman jumped out, as Khabib flinched and then burst into peals of laughter.
Popular Turkish chef Burak Ozdemir decided to prank the Eagle when he visited his restaurant. As he was about to serve some drinks on a platter, Ozdemir purposely decided to let it slip just as he approached Khabib. The drinkware was empty after all.
Khabib’s facial expression in the video below says it all, as everyone has a nice laugh. Ozdemir then gives Khabib a warm embrace.
The snake prank will forever remain in Khabib’s memory as he ended up getting slightly injured in the aftermath. Khabib’s teammates had brought in a huge python to the gym and let it wriggle on the floor.
Khabib and his teammate took off like a Bugatti on seeing the massive reptile, and ended up getting injured. Khabib bumped his teeth into his teammates head, causing minor injuries to both.
Khabib has wrestled with bears since time immemorial. But in this video he can be seen running scared from a cat unleashed at him by teammate Islam Makhachev. He can be seen taking one too many steps back, as the Feline makes a move at him.
This proves ‘The Eagle’ is human after all.
