UFC Brasilia AKA Fight Night 170 will go ahead despite the coronavirus fears in Brazil
UFC Brasilia features one major fight between Kevin Lee and Charles Oliviera but there have been doubts about the fight still being on after the coronavirus issue.
The WHO has called the coronavirus a pandemic and many leagues have had to shut shop.
However, Dana White confirmed that UFC fights will go ahead with some being staged without any fans.
Brazil has also been affected by the coronavirus, updates have confirmed the fight is still on.
White confirmed to venues for future fights, UFC Brasilia will be held in the South American country.
White also confirmed that this fight will also not feature the fans. And only include UFC personnel, judges, doctors, cornermen and ESPN crew.
The start time for the event was also moved up by a couple of hours. This move comes after the Brazilian government banned gatherings of more than 100 people in an area.
The big talking point is the clash between Lee and Oliviera but there are some other big fights on the UFC Fight Night 170 card too.
Damian Maia takes on Gilbert Burns while Renato Moicano faces Damir Hadzovic.
Johnny Walker vs Nikita Krylov is the fourth fight on the card with the main card ending with Francisco Trinaldo taking on John Makdessi.
There are seven fights on the preliminary card too and the UFC have a big decision to make ahead of their next show.

Flights between countries have also been affected majorly. The UFC confirmed that Fight Night 171 from London would go ahead as planned.
The UK hasn’t put in too many restrictions on people gathering for sports events, though many have already suspended their respective leagues.
Most of the UFC’s next fights will take place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Hopefully, the fighters stay safe ahead of a testing time.
