UFC 4 June fighter update: Israel Adesanya and Brandon Moreno get major upgrades

The UFC 4 fighter update saw several fighters get upgraded, while a few were downgraded as well

UFC 263 concluded two weeks ago. The event featured three important clashes across various weight divisions.

A middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori headlined the event. Adesanya won the fight via. unanimous decision.

The co-main event saw Brandon Moreno become the first-ever Mexican-born champion in UFC history, as he beat Deiveson Figueiredo via. submission to win the flyweight title.

There was a 5-round non-title fight as well. A first in the promotion’s history. Leon Edwards took on the returning Nate Diaz. The fight went the full five rounds, as Edwards won via. unanimous decision.

UFC’s official video game UFC 4 had some major upgrades in players’ stats following UFC 263. The upgrades were broken down by UFC legend Daniel Cormier.

Adesanya’s Bottom Game stats got a +2 upgrade and went up to 91. His switch stance and footwork increased by 1, reaching 99 and 98 respectively.

Moreno had a huge upgrade in his ratings. His takedown defense went up by +5 to 91. The Mexican’s accuracy reached a stunning 95. The top game and submission defense attribute of his reached 92 and 94 respectively with an increase of 2.

The Brit, Leon Edwards saw his switch stance attribute increase by 5 to 93. His ground striking and top game increased by 2 each and was now rated 92. Edwards’ takedown defense improved too. And finally, his grapple star rating got a 4.5-star rating, with a 0.5 upgrade.

Nate Diaz, Marvin Vettori and Deiveson Figueiredo get downgraded

Nate Diaz’s punch speed, blocking and bottom game got -2 downgrades reaching a rating of 90, 94 and 92 respectively.

Figueiredo had a mixed rating change. His head strength went down by 1 to 92, since he was dropped once in the fight by Moreno. However, the Brazilian’s takedowns increased by 2 to 88.

Marvin Vettori’s Top game and Bottom game dropped to 93 and 91 following a -1. However, the Italian’s head movement increased by 2 to 94.
