Israel Adesanya joined in on the ongoing Twitter war between Jon Jones and Dan Hooker
An online battle is raging between UFC heavyweight Jon Jones and featherweight Dan Hooker. It all started when Hooker took a dig at Jones following former UFC star Chael Sonnen’s recent arrest.
While Sonnen is believed to have arrested while defending his wife, Jones was cuffed (a couple of months ago) for assaulting his partner.
Jones seems to have sorted the issue out, and is currently laser-focused on heavyweight gold.
Hooker who is close friends with City Kickboxing Teammate (also Jones’ nemesis) Israel Adesanya, went back and forth with ‘Bones.’ Jones even pointed out to Hooker firing shots saying that he was trying to get close to Adesanya by doing so.
Wishing ‘b*tch’ Jones a Merry Xmas, Hooker added: “Life hack: if you don’t beat up your wife, family events will be more enjoyable. Merry Xmas bitch.”
Hooker is set to make his featherweight debut soon. He recently announced that he was stepping down to 145lbs after a long stint at lightweight.
Israel Adesanya joins the Hooker-Jones beef
Israel Adesanya who had a much-publicized beef with Jon Jones last year (almost culminating in a fiery fight) chimed in on the Dan Hooker-Jon Jones beef.
Quote tweeting Hooker taking swipe at Jones, Adesanya wrote:
“I’m fun at family events!!”
Adesanya is expected to face Robert Whittaker at UFC 271 in February 2022.
