Israel Adesanya was celebrating the New Year back home but had one major prediction for 2021

The Stylebender, Israel Adesanya, knows how to party as he shared a clipping from a New Year’s party back home.

The UFC star is undefeated in his MMA career and holds the Middleweight title. Many consider Adesanya to be the best Middleweight ever to have graced the UFC and there still is more to come for him.

Adesanya will now face Jan Blachowicz in a title defence. It isn’t for his Middleweight title but for Blachowicz’s Light Heavyweight one.

Adesanya has to move up a weight class to face Blachowicz and some people have had their reservations regarding this.

However, Izzy has taken down all of his challengers in the MMA world and he made a bit of a prediction ahead of 2021.

Adesanya believed he was going to be a double champion and he seems to be in a great frame of mind for this challenge:

UFC 259 calling for Izzy

The date for Adesanya vs Blachowicz was confirmed by Dana White earlier this week. The two rivals will meet at UFC 259 which will take place on 6 March, 2021.

Blachowicz is coming off a great win over Dominick Reyes and this would be his first title defence too.

The Polish star recently became a father and it will be interesting to see how he does against Adesanya.

While some MMA fans are upset that Glover Teixeira didn’t get a shot at Blachowicz first, many believe that Adesanya could become a double champion.

Moving from the Middleweight to the Light Heavyweight division won’t be easy but if anyone can do it, it has to be the Stylebender.

Blachowicz vs Adesanya is one of the big fights of 2021 and it will be interesting to see how it goes.
