Izzy has established himself as a complete superstar with the complete package. When asked about Conor’s appreciation towards him, he recognized the respect by saying – ‘Real recognize real.’

Adesanya said, “We’re on the same team when it comes to Paradigm. Yeah, I think I’m second place now when it comes to highest-paid fighter on the roster, well, active right now. But Conor is a guy that I’ve admired from the jump, from the jump when he fought Marcus Brimage. And he’s a guy that – he’s a performer. So, when he said ‘perform,’ I know what he means. We know. You don’t just go in there and fight. You perform.”

Adesanya and Mcgregor are represented by the same agency that has secured lucrative deals for them.

The last time Israel fought Whittaker, he enthralled the fans by breaking out into a dance during his walkout in a never seen before display. The world will tune in to watch the middleweight showdown this weekend.

Israel Adesanya signed a new multi-fight contract with the UFC which will make him the second-highest-paid fighter. Building up to the much-awaited fight, Conor Mcgregor heaped praises at the middleweight king, calling himself the last few in a dying breed of high-level performers.

He said, “Can’t wait to see Izzy Style back in the Octagon this weekend! One of the true remaining high level fighter/performer athletes we have on the roster! Don’t just fight! Perform!”

This does not come as a surprise since ‘The Notorious One’ has always been appreciative of real standup fighters.
