Israel Adesanya took shots at his nemesis Jon Jones referencing his recent Las Vegas arrest
Israel Adesanya was back on Twitter aiming jibes at his rival Jon Jones.
Jones, who moved to the heavyweight division of the UFC last year, has come under fire of late, after being arrested by the Las Vegas Police Department.
He was charged with battery domestic violence. The light-heavyweight GOAT, had attacked his wife in the presence of his children at a hotel in Vegas following his induction into the fight wing of the UFC Hall of Fame.
Jones was released soon, after posting bail. He will now have to appear in a Vegas court on the 26th of October.
In the wake of this, Adesanya posted a picture of himself partying alongside rapper Lil Jon and fellow UFC fighter and top-ranked welterweight Leon Edwards.
Posting the image, Adesanya claimed that he had done several silly stuff during his time in Vegas, but never got to the level of ‘Jon Jones silly’.
His caption read:
“I get up to some silly shit in Vegas. But I never Jones it.”
Jon Jones back in training
Jon Jones has put the traumatic incident behind and is now back in training.
He has also reconciled with his partner. At least that is what his recent video with his partner Jessie Moses seemed to suggest.
The former champ is expected to make a return to the Octagon next year.
