Israel Adesanya landed a vicious blow to his long time rival Jon Jones on Twitter with a Valentine’s day post.
Adesanya successfully defended his belt for the fourth time at UFC 271, although he laid out a strong case suggesting that this is his fifth defense.
Izzy was at his devious best on Sunday afternoon and took some time to poke fun at former light weight champion Jones. Jones has had his fair share of trouble outside the octagon, that has tainted his legacy in the eyes of many. He also has been charged with domestic violence battery charges previously.
Adesanya heckled him by posting the following tweet
Jones is yet to respond to Izzy’s dig aimed at him as fans continue to await fight news from him.
