Adesenya’s right pectoral muscle is in the news again similar to when he fought Paulo Costa

UFC 253 was marked by Israel Adesanya’s clinical and dominant performance against Paulo Costa, but it also sparked a conversation and worry amongst the MMA community due to his flabby pectoral muscle.

He clarified the steroids allegations and explained it may have been due to ‘unhealthy living’ like smoking weed. The rumors and worry have surfaced again ever since Dan Hooker posted a picture of them from fight camp.

It is evident from the image that there seems to be something wrong with his right pec. In the era of frequent USADA testing and given his major fan following, many have dismissed the rumors.

Here is the snap Hooker shared on Instagram:

The rumors don’t seem to faze Israel, as he continues to lap around the division. One thing is certain, there will surely be some questions raised leading up to his title defense against Robert Whittaker.
