Israel Adesanya was in China for quite a long time before he became popular
Israel Adesanya is the reigning king of the middleweight division. He has been unstoppable ever since he joined the UFC in 2018.
Having won the UFC middleweight title in 2019 at UFC 243, he has gone on to defend the title three times so far.
He is currently looking forward to a rematch against Robert Whittaker.
Adesanya has fought in a variety of combat sports, ranging from MMA to Boxing. He is a well-accomplished kickboxer as well.
Despite being in the combat sports scene since 2010, Israel Adesanya had a desk job for a brief period of time, in China.
In a recent Q&A video he uploaded on his YouTube channel, ‘The Last Stylebender’ revealed that he wasn’t one bit passionate about his data entry job and had kept plotting a way out, which he finally did.
“I was working at a job that I just wasn’t passionate for. It was data entry for this company. Wasn’t passionate about in the slightest. So, ‘What did I do?’ I planned, I plotted my way out.”

Adesanya then went on to explain how he was sitting in his office’s chair and saying to himself about getting out of the company.
Finally, on the 4th of September, 2013 Adesanya left his job and has since gone on to become one of the best mixed martial artists of all time.
On the 4th of September in 2013, Adesanya had just 3 fights in his MMA career, but had won all three. Today, he has a record of 21 wins and just 1 loss.
