Israel Adesanya pokes fun at Robert Whittaker by dawning an NFT showcasing his KO of ‘The Reaper’ on loop

Israel Adesanya has built himself up as one of the smartest fighters in and out of the octagon. While he depends upon his high fight IQ and diverse skillset to dismantle the opponent in the cage, he manages to stay witty and shrewd when it comes to building up fights and getting inside the opponent’s head.

The pair is set to face each other in an epic rematch in Houston this weekend and Adesanya made sure that he reminded Whittaker what happened the last time they fought.

When asked about his bling, he said “It’s on replay and it just shows the moment over and over and over and over and over again,” the Kiwi star said when asked about the chain.

“But this weekend I’m looking to create another moment so, yeah, this is fun.

“After beating them, you’re in their head. I was there already anyway, but you’re already in their head.

“Once you beat them, the way I did it last time, you can’t get over that … I still have properties in there rent free.” [via Fox]

This might be a bit of concern for Whittaker fans given the last time they fought ‘The Reaper’ froze as Izzy got inside his head.
