Johnny Walker claimed that Jon Jones would lose his belt if he kept on fighting

UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones took a swipe at Brazilian MMA star Johnny Walker.

Walker, who has just five UFC bouts to his name, has taken shots at Jones in the past.

When the Brazilian broke into the UFC he challenged Jones to a title shot, but his form hasn’t been great in recent weeks.

Walker has lost his last two UFC bouts but he still had the time to take a hit at Jones. The American is considered as one of the greatest MMA fighters ever and has just one loss to his name.

That was a DQ decision but Jones has defeated everyone that has stood in front of him but Walker, in a recent interview, said that Jones would lose the title if he didn’t work on his game.

That caught the attention of the champion and he replied to a tweet from a fan. Jones claimed he had seen several people lose after making ridiculous comments, and Walker certainly was one of them.

Jones also asked some of his fans to complete sentences regarding what would happen if Walker kept on fighting as he has.

Walker has lost his last two fights and talk of him challenging Jones has evaporated for now.

Some fans had hilarious responses with Jones even retweeted and liking some of them:

Askren also spoke a lot before his fight against Jorge Masvidal. However, Gamebred demolished Askren in the first round itself of their fight and recorded the fastest KO in UFC history.

Jones needs someone to fight him soon as he beat Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. The American has been called out by Bellator champion Ryan Bader, but the cross-promotion fight seems unlikely.
