Polish UFC star Joanna Jedrzejczyk was in good spirits while speaking to TMZ Sports after her UFC 248 battle with Zhang Weili.

The before and after pictures of the female MMA fighter was rather gruesome, and she confirmed that there was a small medical procedure set.

Jedrzejczyk added that it wasn’t anything big and had spoken with a plastic surgeon too:

“The swelling isn’t on my forehead. It’s more on my cheeks and my neck, it’s going down. It’s much better.

“I have a very bad ear. I schedule surgery in Poland with the best plastic surgeon. It’s all good.

“On Monday, I will have a small medical procedure on my ear and the swelling will go down. It’s nothing serious.”

Jedrzejczyk added that she is fine and had undergone a lot of tests such as ultrasounds, but was ready to ‘rock and roll’.

Ready for a rematch

The Pole was asked if she wanted to fight the Chinese champion after the surgery and she was more than willing to dance again.

That could be seen during the fight too as the pair touched gloves several times during the final rounds.

Zhang was a bit fortunate to keep the belt as some have claimed that Jedrzejczyk could have been given the win.

However, both women put on a fantastic show, and this will go down as one of the greatest UFC fights ever.

Zhang also recently spoke about her plans for defending the title, and she was open to a rematch against Jedrzejczyk.

However, the Chinese star was planning to take a break, something she hadn’t done since becoming the champion.
