Jack Hermansson vs Kevin Holland won’t take place next week due to a Covid-19 result
Next week’s UFC main event fight between Jack Hermansson and Kevin Holland was hit hard as the UFC replaced one star.
Holland tested positive for Covid-19 but confirmed he was feeling great. The Trail Blazer is set to return in a couple of weeks and get a crack at someone else but the UFC had to save their main event.
This night’s event was also hurt as Curtis Blaydes tested positive for Covid-19 on the eve of the battle and a co-main event clash had to be pushed up to five-rounds.
The UFC wasn’t taking any chances this time around and quickly confirmed that Marvin Vettori would replace Holland.
The Italian Dream is a rising star in the UFC and has his eyes on Israel Adesanya, the champion. Hermansson has also spoken about how he could get better of the champion but this should be an interesting fight.
Hermansson accepts clash
The Joker posted a video on social media confirming that the fight was off. He seemed disappointed in all this but was more than willing to accept the Vettori clash.
The Swedish-Norwegian star was a little upset that Holland had to get out of the clash but still was ready for the battle.

Credit has to be given to Hermansson for accepting the fight and it will be interesting to see how it goes. The Joker has been on a bit of a tear and could end up winning this clash. However, Vettori also his the bit between his teeth and has wanted a top ranked star for a while.
