Jake Paul has always been ready to fight Conor McGregor or has he?
Conor McGregor suffered an unexpected loss at the hands of Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 264. Poirier went 2-1 up in the rivalry with the victory over the Irishman.
However, the way the find ended wasn’t all that exciting. After going toe-to-toe during the first half of the first-round, the pair took the fight to the ground.
Poirier showed his expertise on the ground, as he capitalized on a failed guillotine from McGregor and used it to his own advantage.
What followed then was a legion of ground strikes that hurt McGregor badly. With just 10 seconds on the clock, both the fighters got back on their feet, and that was when McGregor landed awkwardly and snapped his ankle.
The officials had a check and deemed the ‘Notorious’ unfit. The fight was waved off and Poirier won the fight via. TKO due to a doctor stoppage.
In the wake of this, YouTuber Jake Paul took a jibe at McGregor, ridiculing him with a mere $23 offer.
“My new offer for Conor Mcgregor is $23 dollars.”
Jake Paul mocks Conor McGregor with ‘Mystic Mac’ reference
Just a couple of days ago McGregor had predicted that he would finish Poirier and leave him in a stretcher.
Paul posted a GIF of the same, which ended with McGregor being taken out on a stretcher following the fight.
‘The Problem Child’ mocked McGregor by captioning the Tweet: “Mystic Mac”.
McGregor will need some time to heal up. Revenge will be on his mind once again. But will the old McGregor ever turn up?
