Jake Paul claims that his fight with Conor McGregor is way bigger than a rematch between the Irish Man and Floyd Myaweather

Talks of a potential rematch between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather were making the rounds recently. Combat sports fans, analysts, and UFC President Dana White have all dismissed the idea of this fight by calling it nonsensical. On the other hand, Jake Paul has been on a relentless tirade against Dana White and MMA superstar Conor McGregor, and had laid out a fight proposal with high stakes in the past. Paul had even expressed his interest to fight the biggest name in the game, McGregor on multiple occasions.

The Youtuber turned boxer has been vocal about the UFC underpaying their fighters, and the lack of long-term medical health care for them. ‘The Problem Child’ despised McGregor for being selfish, urging him to play his part and stand up for his fellow fighters.

In a recent interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Paul said that a fight between him and Conor Mcgregor is inevitable, provided the Irish Man returns and wins some fights. He reinstated that it’s important for him to keep winning these fights, and in the end a blockbuster show with two of the biggest names in the game is a massive PPV event.

He said, “I think for me, fighting a couple more times, continuing to knock some people out, and he has to get active again, who knows when that’s gonna happen? I think those two things need to happen, and then at some point, it’s gotta happen,” Paul said. “You know, why not? He’s a businessman, I’m a businessman, and that’s $75 to $100 million for both of us.”

Touching upon the rumors surrounding a rematch between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, Paul said,

‘Two rounds max’- Jake Paul believes that KSI will never take the risk of fighting him

Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul has been at loggerheads with UK influencer KSI for quite some time now. His older brother Logan Paul and KSI were amongst the first to spark off the celebrity boxing landscape. Once rivals, the two have now joined hands to create one of the most successful hydration companies in recent times, PRIME. Younger brother Jake is yet to be in good terms with KSI, and views him as a future opponent.

KSI is all set to clash against Alex Wassabi in August. But the ‘Problem Child’ and the UK boxer have been chirping back at each other. From taking digs at each others PPV numbers, to making predictions about a potential bout between the two- both fighters are laying down the foundation of a future fight.

Paul recently spoke to DAZN boxing about the prospect of this bout claiming that a fight against KSI would be like money for old rope. He professed that the preparation camp itself would be smooth sailing, and the fight easy as pie.

Paul said, “I don’t think he ever fights me. Why would he sign up for that risk? He knows what would happen… I wouldn’t even have to train to fight KSI. I could make $20/30million, show up eating pizza and knock him out. Two rounds max.”
