Jake Paul believes Conor McGregor would not last long in the sport of mixed martial arts

Jake Paul will soon be stepping inside the Boxing ring for the fourth time, when he takes on Tyron Woodley on the 29th of August at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Ohio.

The fight marks the pro-boxing debut of newly-released UFC welterweight great Woodley. This will be the first time Paul is taking on a legit striker.

There was a time in 2020 when Paul called out Conor McGregor, rather disrespectfully. Although a fight between the two never materialized there are still talks of the same.

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn, Paul hit out at McGregor for his recent behaviour following his loss at UFC 264.

The YouTube star also claimed that his heydays were over, before going on to state that “his ego wouldn’t accept that.”

Paul was quoted as saying:

“It’s not even that he’s being disrespectful, he just looks dumb with the sh*t that he’s saying. Threatening to kill people and then he’s out partying, back to drinking, hitting the clubs in L.A. I don’t know, man. I think it’s over for him and I don’t think his ego can maybe accept that.” [via MMA Junkie]

Jake Paul might go on to take fight professional-boxers if he beats Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul is yet to face a professional boxer. His first fight was against fellow YouTuber AnesonGib, which he won via. knockout in the first round.

His second fight was against Nate Robinson, an ex-NBA player. Paul knocked Robinson out cold in the second round.

Ben Askren was Paul’s next opponent. He was the first opponent who had a combat sports background. And now, it is Woodley.
