The big news surrounding the UFC 271 fight week was middleweight champion Israel Adesanya’s renewed contract, which will make him the second-highest-paid fighter in the company’s roster.
Conor McGregor congratulated his fellow Paradigm Sports teammate Israel Adesanya on this monumental feat and title defense this past weekend. He also hailed Paradigm Sports as an ‘amazing’ sports agency.
‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul despised McGregor for being selfish, urging him to play his part and stand up for his fellow fighters.
He tweeted out his response by saying
Jake Paul has never minced his words when speaking about Conor Mcgregor or Dana White. Whether he has the best interest of the fighters in his mind or all of this is an agenda still remains a question.
“Admired from the jump” – Israel Adesanya has massive respect for Conor
Israel Adesanya has established himself as a complete superstar with the complete package in recent times. When asked about Conor’s appreciation towards him, he recognized the respect by saying – ‘Real recognize real.’
Adesanya said, “We’re on the same team when it comes to Paradigm. Yeah, I think I’m second place now when it comes to highest-paid fighter on the roster, well, active right now. But Conor is a guy that I’ve admired from the jump, from the jump when he fought Marcus Brimage. And he’s a guy that – he’s a performer. So, when he said ‘perform,’ I know what he means. We know. You don’t just go in there and fight. You perform.”
Adesanya and Mcgregor are represented by the same agency that has secured lucrative deals for them.
