Jake Paul takes on the role of bodyguard for Shawny Mack, the Full Send MMA reporter that was slapped by Nate Diaz
Nate Diaz is not a guy to be messed with. A fighter famous for the infamous Stockton slap and many brawls inside and outside the octagon, Diaz does not tolerate any jesting or diablerie. He was seen making an appearance at UFC 276, alongside longtime teammates, and MMA legends Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez.
Full Send MMA is a part of the ‘Full Send’ banner under Nelk, also referred to as the Nelk Boys, a Canadian-American YouTube channel and entertainment company. They are known for their prank videos, vlogs, and podcasts.
Shawn Mack, a reporter for the Full Send MMA channel was seen all week interviewing fighters and the biggest names in the game. He was also seen interviewing Khabib Nurmagomedov, who reminded the Nelk Boys about their promise of arranging a rendezvous with basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The reporter caught Diaz backstage for a quick byte, and although things looked convivial, the situation escalated quickly. Shawn Mack asked Nate Diaz whether he’s here to support Sean O’Malley, to which he said NO. A ruffed Diaz added, ”Nig** you better watch your tweets about my team” before smacking the mic, and his hat right off.
Shawn Mack had previously made fun of Nicholas Maximov, a young fighter from the Nick Diaz Academy by using the famous TMZ interview, where it appeared like Maximov was caught like a deer in the headlights when Nate suggested his name to fight Khamzat Chimaev. It was enough for Diaz to take matter into his own hands. Watch the entire episode below-
Amongst the many criticisms that Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul faces was allegations that he cherry-picks opponents to build up his career. Tommy Fury has the pedigree of boxing in his family history, and the sport runs in his veins. This prompted fans that he will probably be Paul’s biggest test so far. But despite many attempts by the Paul and Fury camp to bring this fight together, the fight has gone back to rack and ruin, leaving the American opponent less. Little did combat fans know that when Jake Paul said ‘Anyone, Any place, Any time’, he actually meant it.
Pullulating ringster Jake Paul will face his toughest test to date when he collides with ‘tough as knuckles’ Hasim Rahman Jr. atop the Showtime boxing pay-per-view (PPV) card scheduled for Sat., Aug. 6, 2022 inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. As for Hasim, he is 12-1 as a pro and coming off a fifth-round technical knockout loss to James McKenzie Morrison last April in Las Vegas.
Shawny Mack caught Jake Paul after his first press conference with Hasim Rahman Jr. backstage to grab a quick byte. After the interview got concluded, Paul mockingly recreated the episode with Diaz, by knocking off Shawny’s cap and mic. He later issued a challenge stating that he will be bodyguard for the reporter next time Diaz tries to hit him.
He said, “I’ll be your bodyguard. Hey Nate, the next time you do that s..t, I’m f..king you up Nate. This is my boy, alright? Don’t touch him ever again. I’m going to f..k you up. You get so mad you get so mad. I’m his bodyguard now, for free. What’s good, Nate Diaz? Stop running from me. Get out of your contract and I’m gonna f..k you up. Peace out.”
