Jake Paul is back again with his taunts, as he gifts Dustin Poirier – ‘The Sleepy Conor McGregor’ chain

Conor McGregor suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time in his career, following his UFC 264 debacle. The man behind this? Dustin Poirier. ‘The Diamond’ who was 0-1 against McGregor even a year ago, has gone 2-1 up after beating him twice in 2021.

At UFC 264, which marked the pair’s trilogy fight, McGregor had a horrific ankle break at the end of the first round, which led to Poirier winning the fight via. TKO due to a doctor stoppage.

Elsewhere, YouTube personality and professional boxer, Jake Paul who constantly keeps mocking McGregor on the Internet, took a massive shot at the Irishman by purchasing a $100,000 worth chain that had a ‘knocked out cold’ McGregor (from UFC 257) as the pendant.

He then promised to gift the same to Poirier. And, as promised the YouTube star has gifted Poirier the chain.

Confirming the same, Paul tweeted that the necklace was on the way. He also had a note for both Poirier and his wife Jolie, which read:

Dustin Poirier acknowledges Jake Paul’s gift

Poirier was quick to respond to Jake Paul’s offer. He acknowledged the same with a fist bump.

Paul has been busy currently, going around the US for the pre-fight press conference, ahead of his pro-boxing fight against Tyron Woodley. The pair are set to face off on the 29th of August, this year.

Poirier, on the other hand, will be focused on getting the lightweight gold, when he takes on the champion Charles Oliveira next.
