Jake Paul and Michael Bisping seem to be on a collision course regarding a fight
Jake Paul has escalated his rivalry with Michael Bisping and asked the former UFC Middleweight Champion to prove he isn’t under UFC contract.
Bisping and Paul have been going at it on social media for a while over a possible fight, and the pair have hit out at each other in recent weeks.
The latest tweet from Paul suggests that The Count is still under contract with the UFC. Paul also claims that Dana White, the UFC President, controls Bisping.
However, the YouTuber-turned-boxer did claim he would fight Bisping, should he prove he isn’t under UFC contract.
“.@Bisping post legal confirmation that you are not under UFC contract and I will get you a contract. You retired in 2017 and Dana still got you by the balls. And we fight where I tell you we fight.”
Paul is undefeated in his professional boxing career and has a 5-0 record. He has also knocked out every opponent he has faced, and that includes MMA stars like Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
Bisping, for his part, last fought in 2017. However, The Count lost to Kelvin Gastelum, and at 43, hasn’t really fought all that much.
Bisping also has only one eye, after an injury during a fight, and it will be interesting to see if he does take up Paul’s offer.
The Count might have the size advantage over Paul, but the YouTuber has more experience of being in a boxing ring.
This would be another big payday for Paul. He has been calling Conor McGregor out for a fight but that doesn’t seem likely to happen.
