Zhang Weili last fought Joanna Jedrzejczyk and defended her Women’s Strawweight title
UFC president Dana White was almost lost for words after seeing a photo of Zhang Weili training.
The Chinese Strawweight star recently defended her title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in a crazy bout.
That match could have gone either way as both stars threw punches throughout the clash. Joanna was left with a swollen head injury while Zhang was also tagged several times.
That fight will go down as one of the greatest title bouts in the history of the UFC, and it seems that Zhang is training once again.
White commented on a training photo of Zhang, and could not believe how ripped she looked. The Chinese star is one of the best in the MMA world, but her training seemed to have caught the UFC president off guard.

Zhang not preparing for fights?
She might be training but Zhang also spoke about her future plans after beating her rival.
The Chinese champion added that she wanted to take a break and enjoy a holiday. Zhang didn’t get time to celebrate after winning the title first and defending it against Joanna seems to have taken a toll on both stars.
The Polish star is a former champion and is open to facing Zhang again. The champion also claimed she would be willing to fight Joanna, but only after she has taken a break.
UFC events have been cancelled for a while but White seems adamant that 9 May will host a fight card.
That includes some big hitters such as Tony Ferguson, Amanda Nunes, Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo and Francis Ngannou.
The location and fight card are yet to be finalised by White, but it seems that this event is a go. Disney and ESPN were able to cancel UFC 249, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the 9 May event.
