Jiri Prochazka is latest in the growing list of fighters training at Fight Ready alongside ‘Triple C’

ESPN had earlier reported that Jiri Prochazka will be training at Fight Ready, Arizona. He joins an elite group of fighters who joined the Arizona based gym and showed massive improvements in their all-round game.

Prochazka who is coming off a brutal KO win against Dominick Reyes, is scheduled to fight Glove Teixeira at UFC 274 on May 7. The Czech who is famously known for his explosive stand-up skills, would be expecting to develop his ground game at the newly adopted gym because of threat that Teixeira’s ground game poses. He recently posted a picture with Henry Cejudo looking in phenomenal shape.

Prochazka is currently on a twelve fight win streak securing 11 wins via TKO or KO.

Jiri Prochazka has cited Khabib Nurmagomedov as one of his inspirations

Having made his UFC debut only last year, at UFC 251, the Czech has quickly risen through the rungs of the LHW ladder.

In an interview with RT Sport, Prochazka spoke about the fighters he looked up to. Amongst the many names, he mentioned Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones were the notable ones.

“A lot of inspiration was from Conor McGregor. A lot from Jon Jones. Machida was a great fighter, I’m not just talking about the fighter as a whole, I’m talking about the moves they did, the techniques. Khabib Nurmagomedov has inspired me too. A lot of other fighters as well – Robert Whittaker and Dominick Reyes.”
