Israel Adesanya vs Jan Blachowicz is one of the biggest fights and Joaquin Buckley shared his prediction
The highlight reel that is Joaquin Buckley is ready for his next fight as he faces Alessio Di Chirico in the first UFC event of 2021.
New Mansa, as he is called, is coming off two great wins and two viral KOs. He was speaking to Helen Yee before the fight and claimed he was also looking to get another big KO bonus and the win.
However, he also had some big plans for 2021. Yee asked when his plans were for one year from now and he wanted to win the Middleweight title:
“One year from now? Definitely going for the title.”
The current champion is the undefeated Israel Adesanya. Adesanya is to face Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz for the title soon and Buckley provided his thoughts on this clash:
“Go Israel, get your belt man. I know who you really hunting for, that’s Jon Jones.
“Just keep doing your thing but I don’t think the UFC would allow him to keep both the belts at the same time.”
When asked if Adesanya could win the title, Buckley was certain the Kiwi could:
“Oh, for sure, yeah.”
While Adesanya vs Blachowicz is one of the toughest fights to share a prediction for, Buckley had more problems with another clash.
McGregor vs Poirier
In a week or so Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor meet for the second time in their career. This is another huge fight at UFC 257 and Buckley was asked who would get the win.
New Mansa was unable to split the pair. He claimed that Poirier had evolved a lot over the years while McGregor is McGregor and could do anything.
The 26-year-old couldn’t choose who would win but added that the fight was going to be excellent.
