Bryce Mitchell picked up another win wearing his new camo shorts at the latest UFC event and Jon Anik had a ton of praise for the youngster
Bryce Mitchell was extremely pleased after finally wearing his camo shorts in his latest UFC fight.
The 26-year-old came into his clash against Andre Fili undefeated in his MMA career, and he continued that with an impressive win.
Mitchell got the unanimous decision win over Fili and many were left impressed. The American is 14-0 in his MMA career now, and Jon Anik, believes a lot is to come from the 26-year-old.
The UFC commentator first came up with a new name for Mitchell and claimed his new nickname could be “Thug Filthy” after some impressive takedowns:
I really liked that co-main event last night. Two athletes who really deserve the spotlight. Felt like Andre Fili did a lot of things well defensively; he was urgent and had some moments on the feet. But Bryce Mitchell's takedown game is just too good. Thug Filthy. #ThugNasty

However, more was to come from the UFC commentator.
Closing in on a title shot?
Mitchell is ranked #15 in the UFC Featherweight rankings and his stock keeps on growing in the promotion.
Thug Nasty has looked incredible since stepping into the UFC and Anik claimed Mitchell is in the sights of a lot of top stars.
He did allude to Mitchell’s camo shorts too but that wasn’t important. Mitchell seems to be someone to keep an eye on and Anik heaped a ton of praise on the American:
Forget the camo shorts. I'd rather talk about the MMA ability. From my seat, Bryce Mitchell looks like a real problem. I'd imagine he is on the radar of all the featherweight elites now, were they not paying attention prior to last night. Hungry, dangerous, focused. Arkansas.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the American. He should go up against another ranked star and that should move him up the rankings if he gets a win.
Going 14-0 in a professional career is pretty good but keeping that record won’t be easy in the UFC. Thug Nasty certainly has impressed in his UFC outings and the best part is he is just 26 and has a lot of time to develop his MMA skills.
