Israel Adesanya might have talked a lot after the demolition of Paulo Costa at UFC 253 but he is extremely humble and down to earth too

Israel Adesanya showed his class in and out of the Octagon at UFC 253. Many had predicted that the undefeated Paulo Costa could take away Adesanya’s UFC Middleweight title and hand the champion his first MMA loss ever.

However, Adesanya was fighting on another level as Costa barely touched him. Adesanya lit up Costa’s legs with some brutal kicks and then went for the head in the second round.

The Last Stylebender finished off his bitter rival with some ground and pound for a TKO win and even took time to crack a few jokes about him on social media.

Adesanya also might have looked a little disrespectful after the win as he celebrated with a dance before and after the fight.

However, this was just his way of letting some steam off after a lot of unflattering things were said about him by Costa leading up to the fight.

Adesanya had maintained he was going to make light work of Costa and he was prophetic. Jon Anik also almost got knocked out in all this but he shared an incredible story regarding the champion.

Staying humble

Anik claimed he was on the same flight as Adesanya while they were returning to Las Vegas from Abu Dhabi.

Adesanya gave up his first class seat to one of his cornermen, which is something amazing.

The champion did thank a lot of his coaches and trainers after the fight and celebrated with them backstage too.

The UFC 253 performance will go down as one of his best and Izzy only seems to be improving. The 31-year-old has now won 100 fights in his career including his boxing and kickboxing results.

While Adesanya getting better is a warning to all those who think of challenging him, the champ is still humble and down to earth when it comes to those who are closest to him.
