Jon Jones wants a fight with Francis Ngannou next and brought up some Conor McGregor reasoning for the same

UFC 260 had one title fight on the card and it lived up to expectations. Stipe Miocic was defending his belt against Francis Ngannou in a rematch from nearly three years back.

Miocic, possibly the greatest UFC Heavyweight, didn’t have a great night. Ngannou had learned from his previous loss against the champion and got the win via a knockout.

It was a brutal KO too but this is something that Ngannou has made a living out of.

However, there was something interesting in this win. Ngannou used some takedown defence and was able to get the better of Miocic once on the mat.

The new champion was ready to fight more and was open to take on Jon Jones. Jones vacated his Light Heavyweight title and has bulked up to take on the Heavyweight champion.

However, some commented that Jones wasn’t looking to fight as he brought out the comment of wanted the money.

This, some claimed, was a sign that Jones was only talking and not keen on getting a fight. The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion wasn’t pleased at all this and brought up Conor McGregor.

Jones dispelled rumours that he was scared of Ngannou or wanted to do down a division or two. He also brought up the fact that he wanted to be paid right for a fight of this magnitude:

The former champion also brought up how Conor McGregor asking for big money fights is fine but it isn’t right for Jones:

McGregor is a big money draw for the UFC and will fight Dustin Poirier in a trilogy. This, despite coming off a loss against Poirier at UFC 257.

Jones does have a point at wanting more money or at least the right money for his next fight. He is possibly one of the greatest MMA stars of all-time and no one could take the belt off him in the Octagon when he was the champion.

Ngannou has taken out possibly the greatest Heavyweight in the UFC. And, he is also the most dangerous man on the planet.

Jones deserves the right money for this fight and it will be interesting to see what the UFC does next.
