Jon Jones opens up about fiance assault allegations
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was recently arrested by the Las Vegas Police departments over assault allegations of her fiance. Jones was released after wards but has been at the center of hate for a while now.
Jones took to Twitter to clear up some air around the situation. He said:
“I love how people are imagining the worst possible situation in their heads and making it somehow factual. I never hit my fiancé and our daughters were woken up after our confrontation. My daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing.”
Jones has made it clear that he never hit his fiance and that the people are imagining the worst possible scenario and thinking that they are true. Jones also clarified that their daughters did not see or hear anything as it was claimed earlier.
In another tweet Jones showed that he’s grateful for the support he’s got and felt like it was important for him to clear this out. He said:
“That’s really the only thing I care to clarify.. outside of that, looking forward to moving forward without alcohol. It’s the first time in my life where I’m actually ready to quit. Glad to have the support of my fiancé, family friends and fans”
Jones expressed his feelings and felt like this needed to be clarified as people were coming up with false stories according to him. From what it seems in the tweet, Jones has certainly understood that he needs to step away from alcohol as he really needs to quit. Jones also thanked the fans and his family who have stuck with him in this period of darkness for the former UFC champion.
Recently, Luis Pena another UFC fighter who was arrested on the same allegations got released by the UFC. Jones would certainly not like to be on the receiving end of this and will look to improve as a human being.
