Jon Jones’ fiance left him two months ago reveals the fighter, as his struggles outside the octagon continue to escalate
Jon Jones is one of the most polarizing figures in MMA and fans are well versed with his battles outside the cage by now.
Jones who has competed in the light-heavyweight division of the UFC, has an exemplary record of 26-1 and is widely considered as the greatest to ever do it. However, it is his misdoings outside the octagon that has tarnished his legacy.
Jones has assaulted his wife, Jessie Moses on multiple occasions, most famously after his UFC Hall of Fame induction in September 2021. Although Moses decided to not take any restraining orders against Jones, the incident must have left a lasting impression on her.
Earlier today Jones took to Twitter to deliver an emotional message, updating the status of the couple.
He said, “My fiancé left me about two months ago, today she finalized that she won’t be coming back. If you are a Jon Jones hater, have a toast, I feel like shit.”
Top-ranked UFC welterweight Colby Covington reacted to Jones’ Tweet. Showing no mercy, Covington tweeted: “Tremendous news. Guess you finally knocked some sense into her.”
This news came as a surprise to many after Moses left Jones after 15 years of staying together.

The UFC inducted Jon Jones into the 2021 Hall of Fame for his fabled war at UFC 165 against Alexandar Gustafsson. But every silver lining in his career has been overshadowed by his misconduct outside the octagon, which has tainted his legacy.
On September 24, 2021, early morning after the prestigious induction, police had been called to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on account of a domestic violence incident involving Jones and his wife. It was publicized that Jones pulled his partner’s hair and left her with a bloody lip. She later claimed it was due to her chapped lips. Jones was charged with one count of domestic battery, a misdemeanour, and one count of tampering with a police vehicle, a felony.
Footage of the incident has now surfaced on the internet in which Jones is clearly intoxicated and out of his senses. He was handcuffed during the incident and when the police tried to calm him, he banged the hood of the police car with his head.
“Why are you doing this?” Jones was heard asking the officers. “This is so humiliating. I got in the Hall of Fame tonight. Then you’re gonna put me on this when I’m walking down the street. Oh my goodness. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you so much! Thank you! What’s your name? On my Hall of Fame night. Say your name publicly. Say it. You arrested me on my Hall of Fame night just because I’m big and black. What did I do?! I came from my Hall of Fame ceremony and I’m black. I had my friends and I did nothing to you. I was at a ceremony. I don’t want to answer your questions no more. Am I at fault? A black man can’t drink? Getting elected into the Hall of Fame and this is what I got?”
