Jon Jones replied to a fan on Twitter who brought up a WWE reference
Jones has been actively training for his heavyweight debut, despite a cloud of uncertainty looming large over his HW future.
Of late, he has been frequenting Twitter, replying, and interacting with fans. Jones was asked about his brother Chandler Jones who plays as an outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL.
Since Chandler weighs around 120 kg and towers at 6ft 5, Jon was asked if he would stand a chance against him, since he had become a heavyweight now.
Jones rephrased the question, bringing brotherhood into the equation. He replied, “A better question is what brothers out there would stand a chance against Chandler and I?”
That was when a fan decided to reply to Jones posting a picture of the brothers of destruction Kane and the Undertaker from the WWE.
Jones replied with an eye emoji, leaving it to the fans’ interpretation.
For a hypothetical fight against the Undertaker and Kane, Chandler and Jon will have to step up a weight class. The brothers of destruction belong to the super-heavyweight class since their billed weight is more than 135kg.
Jon Jones names his favourite Brazilian fighter
Jones had just one name in mind when he was asked about his favourite Brazilian fighter. It was Anderson Silva, and Jones claimed that he has watched over 100 hours of Silva’s fight footage.
“Silva is always going to be a hero of mine. I’ve probably watched his fight footage for over 100 hours.”
Silva, only recently, was released from the UFC, following a string of losses. The former middleweight champion managed to just win 1 fight out his last 9.
He is now training for a boxing match against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the 19th of June in Mexico.
