However, Izzy claimed the fight wasn’t over and there was more to the rivalry. Adesanya might have lost his unbeaten record in MMA but the Middleweight champion was keen on a fight with Jones.

Jones, who is in line to fight for the Heavyweight title after Francis Ngannou and Stipe Miocic meet wasn’t having any of it.

He had criticised Adesanya after the loss and claimed that any talk of a super fight was over, and now, he hit back at the Middleweight star:

Jones also brought up how Adesanya went on a bit of a rant when asked about the former Light Heavyweight champion:

Jon Jones also hits out at Anime fans

Adesanya is known for his love of Anime and his Last Stylebender name also comes from one. While some fans still claimed that a fight between the two could still happen.

Jones slammed some Anime fans for this thought and kept on hitting at Adesanya:

While Jones seems dead certain a fight against Adesanya won’t happen, it is a little perplexing why he keeps on taking Izzy’s bait.

The former champion is considered as one of the greatest MMA stars of all-time and he has bigger fish to fry.

Jones has constantly shared his Heavyweight growth on social media and recently shared a weight update too.

The American has to bulk up if he has to face Miocic or Ngannou for the title. It will be interesting to see who Jones ends up facing.

Ngannou presents a real threat with his punching power. However, Miocic is a seasoned veteran and can deal with anything that is thrown at him.

The Heavyweight division now has another contender waiting in the wing and UFC 260 cannot come soon enough.
