Jon Jones reacts to the latest UFC rankings released this week

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has recently taken to Twitter to rant about his recent fall in the UFC rankings. Jones has now been dropped by two places. He is now at number four and the middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and bantamweight champion Alex Volkanovski have overtaken him.

Jones tweeted:

“It’s funny seeing people have the satisfaction of being ranked over me when I’m not even competing. Just take me off that silly list”

Jones has certainly not been impressed by the latest rankings and even stated that fighters are happy being ranked over him even when he is not competing. Jones had previously been at the number one spot for a while before Kamaru Usman overtook him.

It is worth noting that Jones has not competed in the UFC for almost two years now. His last fight came on February 8th when he fought Dominick Reyes.

What more did Jon Jones have to say?

Jones was not done with his rant and went on to further express his feeling on how no heavyweight is talking smack about him. Jones is waiting to make his heavyweight debut and this move initially had the heavyweight division shook. He further tweeted:

“I find it rather interesting that I’m not seeing any of these heavyweights talking s***. No comments on my troubles. It’s the fellows who either wouldn’t fight me or who’s ass I’ve already kicked who seem to be the loudest. Funny how that works”

Jones mentioned how no one is talking smack about him and his recent troubles in the heavyweight division and the one’s doing so are the people who are scared to fight him or have already been beaten by him.

Jones found himself in legal troubles yet again and many fighters took to social media to talk smack about the former light heavyweight champion.
