Jon ‘Bones’ Jones took to Instagram to provide a weight update
Jon Jones has been gearing up for his heavyweight debut ever since he relinquished his light-heavyweight belt in August 2020.
While he has been actively packing on the muscle, the date for his heavyweight debut is nowhere close to being set – even after a year and 3 months.
However, Jones has been transforming and sculpting his body phenomenally. He’s been sharing photos and videos of his transformation on social media regularly.
More recently, Jones posted a video of himself pulling up with chain handles. ‘Bones’ looks swole and much more diced than his previous photos.
It looks like he is getting into his final form. “260#” – Jones captioned the post.
260 pounds is nearly the same as Jones’ potential rival Francis Ngannou weighs. The heavyweight champion weighed in at 263lbs for his last bout against Stipe Miocic at UFC 260.
It’s been an eventful last 40 days for Jon Jones
On the 24th of September, 2021 Jon Jones was arrested in Las Vegas for domestic violence. He had just attended the UFC Hall of Fame Ceremony in Vegas.
It was later revealed that he had physically assaulted his partner.
It was the lowest of lows for the LHW king. After being released, Jones shared a short clip with his partner, appearing to confirm that it was all good between him and her.
In only a months’ time, Jones has put everything behind, and begun putting the hard yards at the gym.
