“I’ll say when it happens” – Jorge Masvidal also wants to break Colby Covington’s jaw

Things are turning ugly between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington as Gamebred warns of breaking The Chaos’ jaw.

Masvidal, the number 4 ranked welterweight contender will be hoping to pull off an upset when he takes on Kamaru Usman in a rematch in the main event of UFC 261. Basically, Masvidal is just one step away from being the shot-caller.

Gamebred was once friends with the number one ranked welterweight Covington. But their relationship turned sour, as Masvidal deserted his wife Maritza who is a good friend of Covington.

Covington has since been firing shots at Masvidal, and once the Miami man broke into the top 5 of the welterweight rankings, Covington has periodically been calling him out for a matchup.

Recently, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Covington will be facing the winner of Usman-Masvidal 2, and the Chaos seemed absolutely elated about that.

Masvidal spoke to Adam Catterall of BT sport, ahead of UFC 261, where he warned Covington that he would get his jaw broken, once he gets his hands on the belt, come Saturday.

Gamebred said:

“Colby could be waiting for whatever the f*** he wants. I call the shots when I get the belt wrapped around me. I might just slap up Colby today, tomorrow, you know? I don’t know who’s gonna get the next title shot or not. Colby will get his jaw broken. I’ll say when it happens. Not nobody else, but me – I’ll say when it happens.”

Jorge Masvidal determined to give the fans the violence they crave

Barring the BMF belt, Masvidal has not held any significant belt during his UFC career. But, he does deliver the goods as promised in the majority of his fights.

He has never been knocked out in his UFC career, and hence he always puts up a brave performance even if he ends up being the loser.

At the UFC 261 pre-fight press conference, Masvidal revealed why the fans like him. He said:

“These guys want violence. They don’t cheer for me because I’m so good looking, or the food that I eat or nothing. That’s not why they cheer for me. They cheer for me because I give everybody their hard earned money. I come in here to perform and bring the violence that they crave. And, that’s the only reason why I got all these fans behind me.”

Gamebred has also promised to give Usman a violent ending at UFC 261, and he will be hoping to do exactly that and get that belt wrapped around his waist.
