The Kimbo Slice apprentice has signed a new bankable contract with the UFC that will make him the third highest-paid fighter, after Conor Mcgregor and Israel Adesanya. His PPV sales and magnetic personality have been the key components for this revised deal.

Jorge Masvidal and his manager Malki Kawa took to Twitter to thank Dana White and Hunter Campbell for this opportunity.

This is the result of blood, sweat and tears for 19 years, and Masvidal will be looking forward to celebrating this contract with a win against bitter rival, Colby Covington.

In an interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Jorge Masvidal was asked about what the news headline would be like, post-Masvidal‘s fight with Covington.

Masvidal gave a chilling response to it, stating, “Colby in critical condition, might not fully make it.”

It is intelligible by now that both fighters have vicious intentions when they finally get to lay their hands on each other at UFC 272 and settle this dispute once and forever.
