Jorge Masvidal decided to hit out at Instagram regarding some issues with the social media site
Instagram has been on the end of some criticism from UFC stars recently. Darren Till saw his account get deleted by the social media giants and now Jorge Masvidal has also called them out.
Masvidal isn’t one to hold his words and sent out a simple emoji to showcase his disdain for the platform.
Gamebred, as Masvidal is called, reacted to a fan claiming that he was unable to react to the UFC star’s stories.
Instagram not allowing someone to respond could be due to several reasons. They could have banned or limited Masvidal’s account. It is difficult to ascertain why this issue is prevailing with Gamebred’s account, this could also be a technical snag but the UFC star was not happy.
What is next for Jorge Masvidal?
While Gamebred is taking shots at social media giants, he has provided a hint of when he will return.
Masvidal is on a two-fight losing streak. Both these losses came thanks to the UFC Welterweight Champion, Kamaru Usman.
Gamebred was knocked out viciously in his last out, at UFC 261 in April 2021. However, he seems ready for a comeback in March 2022.
It is to be seen who Masvidal could end up facing. Colby Covington could be one option given the rivalry between the pair. Covington is also coming off a loss to the champion Usman.
Another option is Leon Edwards and the winner of this fight could be close to challenging for the title again.
Masvidal is also in a war of words with Jake Paul. The YouTuber is keen on fighting Gamebred and even shared a list of demands with Dana White.
While that has not been accepted by any party, it will be interesting to see what is next for Masvidal.
