Newly crowned champ Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes will carry their rivalry to the TUF 30 as coaches
The latest chapter in the Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena rivalry will be scripted in the upcoming edition of The Ultimate Fighter, reports Marc Raimondi of ESPN.
Julianna Pena who beat Amanda Nunes by submission in one of the greatest upsets in UFC history has openly said that Nunes deserves a rematch and she will be up for the challenge.
In a recent report on Twitter, Marc Raimondi posted:
A date for the rematch has not been set, but MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with Peña’s management that filming for TUF 30 will begin in February.
They will face off in a sequel of their epic battle at UFC 269 that made Pena the new bantamweight sweetheart. A rematch will give Pena an opportunity to lay down any doubts that the win was a fluke and will give Amanda another opportunity to showcase why she is the most feared fighter in women’s MMA history.
Juliana Pena will make an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres’ show
The latest episode of The Ellen Show will feature Ufc’s new bantamweight queen in a never seen before form.
Juliana Pena has had a crazy couple of months. From scripting one of the greatest upsets in UFC history to now being in the prime time spotlight ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ has come a long way.
The UFC recently posted a tweet featuring her having a conversation with guest host Mark Lopez, who’s a big fan of the sport himself.
It’s a big step in terms of popularity and household name recognition for the champion having featured in one of America’s most favorite talk shows.
