Henry Cejudo doesn’t seem to be a fan of Conor McGregor boxing
Conor McGregor recently shared a clip of him boxing at the Crumlin Boxing Club. The Irishman seemed to be trying to get into rhythm as he returns from a leg injury.
However, Henry Cejudo didn’t seem to be all that impressed with this workout. Triple C was quick to hit out at McGregor and suggest that the Irishman work on some other aspects of boxing and “setting traps.”
Cejudo also referred to himself as the GOAT (greatest of all time) and posted this on social media.
McGregor has lost his last two fights with his UFC 264 outing against Dustin Poirier ending in disaster. The Irishman broke his ankle in the fight and the clash had to be stopped in the first round.
The Notorious has been on the recovery path ever since, and it will be interesting to see who he fights on his return to the Octagon.
Henry Cejudo open to fighting Conor McGregor
This isn’t the first time Cejudo has hit out at the Irishman. Triple C, who had earlier talked about a return to the UFC in search of a third title, called out McGregor.
This took place during a recent Triple C and The Schmo show. Cejudo claimed he would move up a few divisions to 155 pounds and then take on a sober McGregor.
However, it seems unlikely that the pair will ever meet in the Octagon too. Dana White doesn’t seem to be too keen on seeing Cejudo return to action in the UFC.
Further, Triple C is doing a lot of coaching now and has trained Deiveson Figueiredo and Jon Jones recently.
McGregor is still the biggest name in the UFC, and his next fight will certainly attract a lot of attention.
