An update was provided for Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje after UFC 268 with the pair being transported to hospital

Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje put in quite a show at UFC 268 as the opened the main card with a bang.

Both stars gave it their all in the three round fight, and were left bleeding all over the place.

Chandler got the worst of it all as he was hurt several times by Gaethje. However, Chandler did have some great moments in the first round and it seemed like he was going to win the fight.

Gaethje was able to turn it around in the second round and he did not look back. It was crazy to see Chandler walk up and take more hits with his face being a bloody mess.

Nevertheless, the former title contenders put on a show and there was immense respect between them as well.

While both stars were able to walk out of the Octagon, it would come as no surprise that both were being transported to hospital for more updates.

This is a normal step to take after most UFC fights as internal injuries could take place.

However, this was a banger and there were some huge kicks also thrown on each other. It was a surprise the fight went to three rounds, but many believed this was a Fight of the Year contender.

Gaethje got the win in the end and called out whoever the champion was going to be next. He was ready to face Dustin Poirier in America or Charles Oliveira, and if The Highlight performs like this, there is no doubt we could see him become the champion.
