Colby Covington will get to rematch his nemesis Kamaru Usman in the main event of UFC 268

The wait is finally over. After much confusion about who welterweight champ Kamaru Usman will fight next, it looks like he will be rematching Colby Covington after all.

The news was first reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN, who had learnt from UFC President Dana White about the rematch.

The fight is set to headline UFC 268 which will be taking place in November. The date and location for the fight have not been confirmed, with Madison Square Garden in New York expected to host the fight.

The pair previously met at UFC 245 in December 2019. In what Dana White calls, one of the greatest welterweight contests he has ever seen, Usman and Covington went all guns blazing in a heated clash.
