She posted a screen shot of the stats from her fight and went on to say that she won the first and third rounds.

The stats also told a story with Hansen having a greater percentage of takedowns, significant strikes and total strikes.

However, McKenna landed more total strikes that her rival. Hansen also was grateful for the opportunity to fight and suggested she would be back and better than ever.

This was Hansen’s third fight of the year and this loss was a bit of a downer for the 21-year-old. The American is one of the youngest stars in the UFC and was on a three-fight win streak prior to this outing.

Hansen now has an MMA record of seven wins and four losses, and it will be interesting to see what is next for the youngster.

McKenna, for her part, impressed in her UFC debut and this was the perfect way to leave a mark. The Hobbit, as McKenna is called, now holds a record of six wins and one loss and is on a four-fight win streak.

The 21-year-old might have been the slight underdog going into the clash, but she proved that she is ready for the UFC.
