Kayla Harrison responded to UFC President Dana White after the latter had advised her to stay in the PFL

Kayla Harrison has been surging in her MMA career. Having made her MMA debut only three years ago, the former Olympic Gold-medalist in Judo has become a force to be reckoned with.

She is 11-0 in her MMA career, and is the 2019 PFL women’s lightweight champion. She is one win away from winning the 2021 edition as well.

Harrison is set to take on Taylor Guardado in the Finals of the Women’s Lightweight tournament on the 27th of October at PFL 10.

The fight is also Harrison’s last fight in her PFL contract.

There have been a lot of talks of her joining the UFC, with Harrison expressing her interest to do the same as well.

Addressing the same in an interview with TSN, UFC President Dana White stated that Harrison should spend some more time in the PFL before testing the dangerous waters of UFC:

If I was her, I’d stay right where she is and keep picking off the people over there. I would stay there and keep fighting the type of women she’s fighting there before I would come here and fight an Amanda Nunes. That’s for damn sure.” [via MMA Junkie]

The former Judoka said that she had all eyes on her fight on the 27th of October, and wouldn’t let anything distract her.

“Thanks for the advice, Uncle Dana, I appreciate you. My job is going to focus on Oct. 27. I really don’t care what other people have to say about me or my career, my choices or my options. I’m going to do what’s best for me, and that’s it.” [via MMA Junkie]

Harrison then went on to acknowledge how White was just doing his job before sounding off a stern warning that the bossman would soon see how GOATed she is.

“That’s what he does. That’s his job. I’m gonna talk about how I’m the greatest of all time, and he’s gonna talk about, ‘Well, calm down. No, you’re not.’ This is a game. This is a business. The difference is I really am gonna be the greatest of all time. He’s gonna see.” [via MMA Junkie]

Harrison is coming off a TKO win over Genah Fabian in the first round of her PFL women’s lightweight semifinal bout at PFL 8.
