The popular adult-actress revealed why she felt Khabib Nurmagomedov is the GOAT, and not Jon Jones
In any sport, there is always a debate on who is the greatest of all time. And likewise, the sport of MMA is no exception.
Gone are the years of Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva, who once dominated the MMA scene in the world’s biggest MMA promotion- UFC. Despite being untouchable during their heydays, there were times when GSP and Silva were breached.
Fast forward a few years later, enter, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones. Both the fighters have (almost) never been defeated in their entire career. It is worthy to mention that, Jones has a loss against Matt Hamill which came via. DQ.
Khabib (29-0), made his UFC debut in 2012, and quickly surged through the ranks, and became the lightweight champion in 2018. He retired from the sport last year, with a clean record of 13-0 in the UFC.
Jones, on the other hand, has been plying his trade in the UFC for the majority of his career. Having made his debut when he was just 21, he became the youngest champion in UFC history at just 23. Barring that Matt Hamill DQ loss, Jones is yet to lose a fight.
Adult-actress Kendra Lust who is a big MMA fan herself weighed in on the GOAT debate. Speaking in an interview with Helen Yee, she gave props to Jones and GSP but felt that Khabib was miles ahead of them.
Kendra was quoted as saying:
“I’m not taking anything away from Jon Jones or GSP. However, nobody has even come close to defeating Khabib. So, hands down he is the GOAT!”
Kendra Lust still believes a fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre is on
Once Khabib hung up his gloves after UFC 254, there was many a talk about ‘The Eagle’ returning if he had the chance to fight the retired Georges St-Pierre. GSP also revealed that he might return if he was to fight Khabib.
But, as time went by, Khabib retired officially last month and the possibility of a Khabib-GSP bout was put to bed.
When asked if she would like to see Khabib back in action, Kendra Lust told Helen Yee:
“Of course I would. Now that I’ve learned a little bit more about him. Him and GSP! Let’s see. I mean that would bring him back right. So, I’d love to.”
As for GSP, the Canadian is nearing 40 but is still in incredible shape. And, it is safe to say that ‘Rush’ might still make a return if Khabib ever changes his mind.
