Khabib Nurmagomedov calls out his coach Javier Mendez while showing off his incredible endurance

Khabib Nurmagomedov hung up his gloves after he submitted Justin Gaethje to victory at UFC 254.

‘The Eagle’ explained at the post-fight interview that he wouldn’t be able to compete without his late father by the ringside. Staying true to his mother, since he had promised her that he would stop fighting, the Dagestani retired from the sport of MMA.

However, there were a ton of speculations and rumours afloat that he would make a comeback soon. Putting an end to all such speculations, UFC President Dana White announced on the 18th of March that Khabib ‘has officially retired’.

Khabib is someone who loves the sport, and he has taken to coaching ever since his retirement. He has been seen accompanying his fellow Dagestani brothers and teammates during their fights in various promotions.

‘The Eagle’ recently posted a video on Instagram where he can be doing dips with ease. And after breezing past the 15-dips mark, he gets off the dip station and calls out his coach Mendez.

He can be seen saying:

“Coach! I know you are a busy guy. But, I hope you miss me coach. Where are you?”

He also captioned the post writing, “Send me location @akajav.”

Who wouldn’t miss someone with a work ethic like Khabib’s?

Kamaru Usman feels Khabib Nurmagomedov is on a different level compared to Charles Oliveira

In the wake of Oliveira’s title win, Usman spoke about the recent comparisons between Khabib and Oliveira in an interview with TMZ Sports.

The Nigerian felt Khabib’s game was on a different level and no one ever would come close to that.

He said:

“I just think there are levels to the game and I think Khabib is a different level.’

Without a doubt, it would take Oliveira ages to reach Khabib’s level, but he’s out there to carve a name for himself in the UFC’s toughest division.
