Former UFC lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov and footballing legend Clarence Seedorf have confirmed the launch of a special club
SK Sports Holding, a joint venture of former UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov and football legend Clarence Seedorf, recently confirmed the launch of Seedorf Khabib Performance Club.
It is a special football school that will infuse a new and unique training methodology primarily based on MMA.
SK Sports Holding is based in DMCC – Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. Their vision is to expand the Performance Club and set it up across several locations (at least 10) in the coming years.
Khabib, a massive football fan, has taken up such ventures ever since announcing his retirement in October 2020.
Seedorf, for his part, has been involved in setting up performance schools, and other related stuff for a couple of decades.
Speaking about the same, Khabib said:
“I have always been a big football fan and admired Clarence not only as a player, but as a man. He has good values and that is very important for me. Seedorf Khabib Performance Club will have a very positive impact and will improve football and athletic skills, but above all will create good people which is the most important thing.” [via Arab News]
