Khabib Nurmagomedov was not happy with his old nemesis Conor McGregor mocking his dad
Conor McGregor played ‘tweet and delete’ a week ago, aiming a barrage of tweets at Dustin Poirier, Jolie Poirier and even Khabib Nurmagomedov and his late dad Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
Following McGregor’s loss to Poirier at UFC 264, Khabib had posted a tweet writing – “Good always defeats evil.”
McGregor who initially didn’t respond to this, took to Twitter following his ankle surgery which he had undergone, and posted several derogatory tweets in a double-quick fashion.
One among those tweets read, “Covid is good and father is evil?”
It was directly aimed at Khabib’s late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov who passed away last year due to the coronavirus.
In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Khabib was asked about his opinion on McGregor talking smack about his dad on Twitter and asked if the ‘Notorious’, had crossed the line.
Khabib replied, “I think so,” before going on to say that it was “terrible.”
