Khabib Nurmagomedov is arguably the greatest mixed martial artist in the history of the UFC. He is right up amongst the greatest mixed martial arts ever existed on planet Earth.

Since then, he has become a mixed martial arts promoter and also a coach. In fact, he is already 5-0 up in his coaching career.

In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience featuring American stand-up comedian Shane Gillis, Rogan discussed how the UFC needs someone like Khabib to make everyone better.

JR was quoted as saying:

“Those guys all need each other, as crazy as that sounds, the sport needs a Khabib. You need a guy who’s so ultra, super-dominant that he makes everybody else rise up. They’re all better because of Khabib.” [via Wrestling Edge]

He then explained how McGregor drives around in a Rolls Royce while Khabib still drives a Toyota truck, before going on to explain the Russian’s commitment and hard work.

Rogan said:

“Even Conor needed Khabib, he needed someone who’s a no-nonsense guy because he’s all about all this style, expensive watches and driving around in a Rolls [Royce]. Meanwhile Khabib drives a Toyota truck and he lives in the same house he grew up in. I mean he’s that kind of person. He’s just about hard work.” [via Wrestling Edge]

Khabib is currently headed to Bellator where he would be coaching Islam Mamedov and cousin Usman Nurmagomedov at Bellator 263.
