Khabib Nurmagomedov caught up with Mike Tyson for an episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson
Now that Khabib Nurmagomedov has retired he has been going places. Although, he doesn’t have to commit to weight cuts, stress himself at the gym everyday, he still has been a busy man.
Immediately after his retirement, Khabib bought the Gorilla Fighting Championship and renamed it to Eagle Fighting Championship.
Starting from early 2021, he became an MMA coach and is already 5-0 up in his coaching career, having coached his fellow Dagestani brothers- Islam Makhachev, his cousins and others.
Of late, Khabib has begun appearing on popular YouTube shows as well. A month ago, he had explained on Facebook that he would go on Joe Rogan’s podcast once he is satisfied with his English.
The Dagestani caught up with Boxing legend Mike Tyson for the latest episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson which has seen the likes of Francis Ngannou, Dana White, Ali Abdelaziz and others from the MMA community.
Although the episode hasn’t been released, Khabib took to his Instagram to share several pictures from the same.
He captioned the post:
“Somehow I will comment on my today’s emotions, but not now, but for now I will share pictures.”
The photo shared by Khabib went viral in no time, as it had two of combat sports’ baddest dudes pictured side by side.
In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan compared the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov with Jon Jones. With Yannis Pappas as the guest, Rogan heaped praise on ‘badass’ Khabib.
Comparing Khabib’s total domination with Jones’ sporadic close call victories, Rogan appeared to be siding Khabib in the GOAT debate.
The UFC commentator said:
“Khabib is undefeated, he retired at 29-0 and dominated everybody, no one was even close. Jon Jones had a couple of split decisions, The Reyes fight was f*cking close, so was the Thiago Santos fight fu*king close, close fights. There is no close fight in Khabib’s history, there’s no close fights. Everybody gets fu*king mauled, everybody smesh, smesh, send location. My favourite quote of him is with Conor McGregor – ‘I want to change his face’. Khabib was the fu*ing man, he was the fuc*ing man.”
