A video of Khabib Nurmagomedov claiming that he is never late to training is going viral

Coach Javier Mendez shared a video of his famous client Khabib Nurmagomedov claiming that “he is never ever late to training.”

It has been 9 months since Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement. The Russian hung up his gloves after beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in October 2020.

Despite rumors of ‘The Dagestani’ coming back, there was not even a small hint from the Russian himself, that he would return. Finally, he put all those rumors to rest, after officially announcing his retirement on the 18th of March, 2021.

Since his retirement, Khabib has taken up the role of a promoter and a coach. In December, he bought the Gorilla Fighting Championship and renamed it Eagle Fighting Championship.

And from the beginning of 2021, he also began coaching his fellow Dagestani brothers and fighters to victories across various promotions.

In a recent video shared by Khabib’s coach Javier Mendez, Khabib can be seen claiming that he never turns up late to training, as a coach.

“Never late, never ever late…Never ever, never in my life…We are talking about me as a coach.”

Although, Mendez agrees to it he then goes on to accuse Khabib of changing plans and never letting him know of the same. Khabib can be seen guiltily smiling right after Mendez’s accusation.

Ali Abdelaziz responds to Rafael dos Anjos’ comments that Khabib Nurmagomedov would return to the UFC

UFC lightweight Rafael dos Anjos recently made a big claim on Twitter that Khabib would return to the UFC, if he sees off Islam Makhachev in the near future (October).

Although, Makhachev’s manager Ali Abdelaziz agreed that a fight between dos Anjos and Makhachev might be on the cards, he ruled out the possibility of Khabib returning to the sport.

Abdelaziz told via. Brett Okamoto:

“Spoke to Islam’s manager Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00). He said Islam wants to fight in December but UFC does want him in October if he can. But Islam is flying to Russia, they haven’t discussed it yet. And Ali said no truth to Khabib. Khabib is retired and they already fought.”
